Porscha Branch, FNP-BC
As a primary care nurse practitioner, I have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my patients. Over time, I learn about their health histories, personalities, struggles, and victories. Those connections make the care that I provide more meaningful for them and for me. Working for an FQHC, sometimes this population feels unheard, and I take pride in being a voice and advocating for them when they may have otherwise felt unheard.
A Little About Me
Welcome to my practice! I have been a nurse since 2011, beginning my nursing career as an LPN. So, 14 years this year! Patients have described me as bubbly and caring, yet stern and assertive. As an NP, my greatest strength is my ability to build rapport with my patients. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career getting to serve others and see them take charge of their health. When I'm not seeing patients, my free time involve free Uber driver for my 3 kids, church activities, and self-care. Oh, and catch up on charting! I have 3 kiddos. 2 boys and 1 girl. I enjoy self-care days, traveling, and shopping. I start my morning with prayer and my favorite playlist. I would describe myself as energetic, caring, funny, hardworking, and sometimes moody. One professional achievement I'm most proud of being nominated for best primary care provider. I did not win, but just being recognized for my hard work was rewarding in itself. My hidden talent would have to be my ability to craft chartcuterie boards and grazing tables.
Come see me for your health journey!
