Kelli Thompson, APRN, FNP-C

Welcome to my practice! I have been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for five years, with 22 years of experience in nursing. Patients have described me as friendly, caring, kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. My greatest strength as a provider is the care I strive to give to each and every one of my patients. The most rewarding part of working at Genesis PrimeCare is getting to know my patients—not only their medical concerns but also their everyday lives and families.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and grown children, as well as bass fishing, running, and cycling. My family includes my husband of 25 years, our daughter and son-in-law, our son and his fiancée, and our two dogs.

I start my day with a cup of coffee and a big hug from my husband. Running or cycling are also ways I like to begin my mornings. I would describe myself as loving, compassionate, hardworking, empathetic, and healthy. A professional achievement I'm most proud of is becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
